The OBSAI and CPRI protocols and interface specifications are what makes distributed base station systems possible. Radiocomp is wholly dedicated to developing products and systems that comply with these standards, empowering mobile operators to build all-pervasive, cost-efficient radio networks.
OBSAI and CPRI allows long-range separation of the radio and baseband parts of cellular base stations. These types of interfaces use fibre-optic cables to connect to compact radio units up to 10 km away for the signal sources, and greatly simplifies radio network deployment.
The AISG protocol allows new software to be downloaded to active antenna systems and monitoring to be done remotely via eg fibre-optic connections. This means that AISG greatly simplifies operations and maintenance procedures for mobile operators.
Radiocomp is fully focused on making all of CPRI, OBSAI, and AISG interfacing protocols an integral part of our product and systems portfolio.
